From the Athens airport, Olympic Marine is reachable by:

  1. By Taxi:  A taxi will normally take 25 minutes to go from Athens International Airport to Lavrion. You will easily find taxis queuing outside the airport gates of Athens Airport (El. Venizelos), yet if you face any difficulty finding one, feel free to contact our Base Manager for assistance. The taxi from Athens airport to the Port of Lavrion costs approx. €50 during day time and €70 during night time (24:00-05:00).
  2. Private Transfer:   Should you require a Private Transfer, feel free to let us know in advance and we will provide you with a quote, using our Brand New Van.

Olympic Marine offers easy sailing routes to the popular Cyclades and the Saronic Gulf. If you plenty of time to spend onboard, you can reach even the famous Sporades. Ask us now for our yachts available in Lavrio.

This base provides all the modern services: Restaurants, showers, Mini Market, laundry services etc. The fully equipped luxurious Olympic Marine is only a quick 25 minutes from the airport by transfer. It’s very close – just 1.5 km away- from the beautiful old town of Lavrio; it’s a very short taxi ride or less than 30 minutes walk, where you will find many wonderful tavernas and very good provisioning. Should you arrive on Friday you might enjoy staying there for the night, you will find a wide range of hotels. You could also opt for a sea-side resort hotel or stay in the Center of Athens.

MARINA ZEAS

Zea Marina is fully organized, offering facilities and services of high standards. The total capacity is 670 berths, on both permanent and floating pontoons. Moorings are available for boats up to 80 meters long. The marina operates all year round on a 24-hour basis.

 

Zea marina is located in Piraeus in Athens and it is one of the finest superyacht marinas in the Mediterranean. A port with great ancient history as it was a Naval base where the fleet of triremes was built. Ruins of the ancient walls of the base can still be found in the marina. The Naval Museum of Greece is also situated in Zea marina.

The Marina, fully organized, offering modern facilities and services, was totally renovated for the 2004 Olympic Games. The total capacity is 670 berths, on both permanent and floating pontoons. Moorings are available for boats up to 150 meters long.

Zea is one of the favorite marinas to crews as it is totally embraced by the city of Piraeus and there is an endless list of things you can do within walking distance from the marina. Shopping centers, cinemas restaurants, bars and all services related to yachts are in the immediate vicinity of the marina.

Within the port, customers can find restaurants, bars, a swimming pool, chandlery shop and the Port Police office.

CLEOPATRA MARINA

Modern areas, well-trained staff and well-organized services are aimed at making even the briefest of stays comfortable and relaxing.

The marina is located at the historic Aktion peninsula, in the heart of the Ioanian, just 1,5 km from Aktion Airport, very close to the cities of Preveza and Lefkada and offers all top quality services and facilities. Cleopatra Marina is easily accessible, well-protected, an ideal starting point to explore the ravishing shores of the Ionian islands.

The marina has a mooring capacity of 100 berths of length up to 30m. The mooring contracts can be daily, monthly or annual. The marina dry docking covers an area of 125.000m2 offering fully dry docking services to 1,000 vessels. It is Greece’s largest dry docking unit.

Must see when sailing out of Parikia

The port is located at the bottom of the historic old town of Parikia. You want to take time to visit its narrow-cobbled paths, the old churches, the small shops and the picturesque blue and white houses. You can visit one of the oldest Byzantine Churches, Panagia Ekatontapiliani (literally the church with 100 doors), dating back to 326AD

We recommend that you arrive on Friday, or before if you can, as you will enjoy staying in Paros for the night.
